(Politicizd) --- Over the course of the last few years, liberal superstar Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, has risen from citizen to United States Congresswoman. However, in this pursuit she has taken increasingly leftists political stances, often defying logic.
In fact, as a self-avowed Democratic Socialist, the congresswoman has furthered the principle of redistributing wealth across all backgrounds... so long as she can keep her own wealth.
This past week, the Democrat tweeted out her outrage over the living conditions facing her grandmother in Puerto Rico.

She emphasized blame on President Trump saying he restricted Hurricane relief funds in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.
She goes on to say that the ex-President neglected funds for Puerto Rico in its tough time.
As shown below, the representative from New York, took to twitter to share this outrage.
The tweets received harsh criticism from conservatives wondering why she hadn't offered her own support to her struggling grandmother.
Further stated, critics asked why she wouldn't concede her own wealth as she calls on others to do.
GOP congressional candidate Lavern Spicer commented on the matter saying, “Honey, you drive a Tesla and have two apartments ... If your grandmother is living poor that’s because you don’t help her out. I’m surprised that a socialist wouldn’t redistribute that wealth to their grandma. Sad!”
Consequently, conservative commentator, Matt Walsh took action organizing a Go Fund Me campaign set to raise money for AOC's grandmother. Shockingly though, with donations from thousands of Americans including Ben Shapiro, the campaign has now raised over $104,000, all of which has been pledged to support the congresswoman's grandmother.
Walsh, a Host from the Daily Wire, slammed Cortez, remarking that its “Shameful that you live in luxury while allowing your own grandmother to suffer in these squalid conditions".
Ocasio-Cortez responded saying, "My abuela is okay. But instead of only caring for mine & letting others suffer, I’m calling attention to the systemic injustices you seem totally fine w/ in having a US colony.”

Essentially, the congresswoman suggested that she was focused on 'more important' things like solving systemic racism. Interestingly, critics asked why she couldn't just offer financial aid to her supposed struggling grandma.
Perhaps, she didn't want to give up any of her own growing wealth, just like many other Americans. Yet, she, the Democratic Socialist, advocates for the increased re-distribution of wealth amongst the rich in order to help the needy.
Hypocritically, she won't do it herself, illustrating what critics call, classic political hypocrisy throughout the left.
Recently, Black Lives Matter founder, Patrisse Khan-Cullors, a self proclaimed marxist, bought four high-end homes totaling a wapping $3.2 million.
Nevertheless, the conservative campaign has raised an astounding $104,000 and counting.
"Abuela is not my enemy. Her wealthy socialist granddaughter declined to help so I stepped into the void. What’s the problem here?"

Yet, just one day later, Walsh received word from the 'Go Fund Me Trust and Safety Team', saying that the congresswoman's family has requested the campaign refund its donors and it will not accept the money.
Interestingly, AOC's grandmother apparently is still in desperate need of Financial support which she won't give herself.
Walsh tweeted as follows:
The email from Go Fund Me, suggested returning all funds to its donors over the next few days.
Walsh addressed the development again on Twitter, remarking:
"It’s pretty fascinating, really. We raised enough to change her grandmother’s life. We could have raised enough to lift her whole neighborhood out of poverty. AOC shut it down. She’d rather leave people to suffer than accept help from us. Very revealing episode."

Conservatives now debate if AOC was using her grandma as a political tool to negatively paint Trump‘s response to Hurricane Maria.
Altogether, there is now growing attention to the congresswoman's refusal to help her own grandmother but rather use her as a political tool. Critics quick to suggest sharing her wealth, note the hypocrisy as she's devoted her career to 'Democratic Socialism'.
